Pirmiausiai pažiūrėjau filmą. Tikrai nelengvas ir verčiantis mąstyti. Pažiūrėjus filmą man atrodė, jog skaitytojas tik Michael. Tuomet pradėjau skaityti knygą - ir supratau, kad skaitytoja ir Hanna. Ir ne tik ji. Tikriausiai ligotos ir silpnos kalinės koncentracijos stovykloje skaitančios Hannai knygas - irgi skaitytojos su sava perskaityta istorija...
The Reader by Bernhard Schlink is the story of 15-year-old Michael Berg, who has an affair with Hanna, a woman more than twice his age. One day she disappears, and he expects to never see her again. Years later, he runs into her at a trial where she is accused of a Nazi crime. Michael must then wrestle with the implications of their relationship and whether he owes her anything.

The Reader is a 2008 German-American romantic drama film, Ralph Fiennes and Kate Winslet star along with the young actor David Kross. It It was the last film for producers Anthony Minghella and Sydney Pollack, both of whom had died before it was released. Production began in Germany in September 2007, and the film opened in limited release on December 10, 2008.
